The Agape Center is a safe, supportive place for people to gather and grow mentally, physically, and in their relationship with Jesus. We offer year-round programming and mentorship for kids, teens, and adults in Roseland, Chicago, where we have been serving our neighbors since 1979.

SUMMER DAY CAMP & TEEN JOBS

Summer Session Dates: June 9 – July 10, 2025

Children's Summer Day Camp

Summer?Day Camp?is a safe, fun place for?Chicago kids?to enjoy the?summer, build positive relationships, and learn about Jesus through the Bible. Features?Bible lessons,?gym games, arts & crafts, reading, and fun field trips.

  • GRADES:?Children entering 1st-8th grade this coming Fall 2025.
    What to do with older children? You can have them apply for our?Teen?Summer?Jobs Program?(see below).
  • DATES:?Monday, June 16 - Thursday, July 10
  • DAYS/TIMES:?Mon-Thurs from 1:00-4:30 p.m.
  • LUNCH?:?An?optional?lunch will be offered from 12:30-1:00 p.m.
  • COST:?Register your 1st child for the entire program for $20; each additional child is $10.
  • Registration is limited to 60 children

APPLY FOR A TEEN SUMMER JOB

The Agape Center Teen?Summer?Jobs?program gives high schoolers opportunities to work and make money, while receiving life skills and job training. Teens will also participate in a weekly Bible study and connect one-on-one with a screened, trained adult mentor.?The program ends with a life-changing week at??in Golden, MO!?Only 20 teens will be hired!

  • GRADES:?Teens entering 9th-12th grade may apply
  • DATES:?June 17 - July 11
  • DAYS/TIMES:?Tuesdays - Fridays, times vary
  • WHAT TO EXPECT?
    • Each week teens will have 2 Work Days, 1 Training Day, 1 Fun Day, 1 Bible study, 1 Mentor mtg
    • We are?NOT?serving breakfast or lunch on Training days or Work days.
    • Dinner?WILL?be served at Bible study on Wednesday nights.
    • July 6th - 11th we are taking 25 teens to??for a life-changing experience.
  • The program is limited to 20 teens. There will be an application and selection process.
